Meet The Team
Founder, Mortgage Broker
Having spent more than a decade working as a mortgage specialist at one of Canada’s leading banks, Julie has accumulated extensive experience in the financial industry. Raised in Vancouver, she’s had the opportunity to combine her comprehensive knowledge of the lower mainland’s real estate market together with financial experience to develop a unique perspective on the industry. Leveraging her mortgage-planning expertise, Julie has helped hundreds of clients realize their goals of home-ownership, funding over $600 million in real estate financing.
During her fifteen years with the bank, Julie worked diligently to progress her career, starting as an assistant manager before transitioning to the role of financial advisor and finally to a mortgage specialist. During this time, she formed deep relationships with her clients and colleagues on all sides of the mortgage lending business. After leaving the bank, Julie became a managing partner at a then newly formed mortgage brokerage firm, and it was here that Julie further developed her vision for what a mortgage brokerage could be. This combination of experience, passion and vision led her to create The West Mortgage Group to best serve her clients and the industry with class and integrity.
